About

Another Day, Another Slay, continued Period Pooh, is a catchphrase and reference to a series of viral videos of a young Black girl named Ty the Dancer (tythedancer_) who says, "Another day, another slay. Period pooh," and then does a twirl in her outfit. The most notable video shows her doing a twirl on a purple hoverboard. The original videos were uploaded to YouTube in 2021 but trended on TikTok in 2022 within greenscreen edits that inserted Ty spinning into microwaves, blenders and other objects that spin. Inherently, her catchphrase references both LGBTQ+ and girlboss slang terms "Periodt"
