Various memes referencing V sleeping circulated online across multiple platforms in mid-December 2020 following the game’s release in a multitude of formats. In late March 2021, the awkward sleeping position for V was fixed by CDPR in the 1.2 patch, which properly shows the character sleeping with their head on the pillow.
