The sub was originally formed as a place for witches to attempt to fight the Taliban terrorist group, but later became a parody where users share shitposts and ironic jokes pretending to magickally fight against the Taliban. The copypasta was posted on Reddit in August 2021 and resurfaced as a phrasal template in the following years, especially on Twitter / X, where users replaced "Allah" with different people and characters from TV Shows, video games or movies.
