About

Doakes Looking at Guerrero, also known as Doakes Side-Eyeing Guerrero, refers to a reaction image from the TV show Dexter showing the character James Doakes, played by Erik King, looking up suspiciously at the character Carlos Guerrero, played by Rudolf Martin. The image was a part of the James Doakes Reaction Images, which gained viral use in mid-2025. Like the others, Doakes Looking at Guerrero was used to portray suspicion in a series of image macros and tweets, often paired with the catchphrase, "But you can't prove it." The scene comes from season 1, episode 3 of Dexter.
