About

Folk 😭 refers to a caption in a series of image macros and reaction images, which conveys crying laughing, emodied by the Loudly Crying Face Emoji, 😭, and the word "folk," which addresses a group of people, usually the viewers, who are also laughing. Folk memes largely stem from the Son Meme or Son 😭 and the use of both captions in several iterations of the AI Baby Holding Laugh meme.
