About

"Mario Don't Save Her" is the name of a song and viral music video produced and released by Brandon Jamar Scott, an Atlanta-based rapper and animator. The song, a parody of the Super Mario franchise, uses the theory that Princess Peach cheats on Mario with Bowser instead of being kidnapped, and expands it to be Peach being "for the streets." The song, released in mid-August 2024, quickly went viral on TikTok and X / Twitter, with users being delighted with the style, music, lyrics and content within the music video while being afraid of what Nintendo might do for disparagingly infringing on it
